Arts in Education
Below is a slideshow of some of the pieces of artwork I produced as part of my studies of Art in my first year.
My artwork is aimed at emphasizing the need for equal opportunity for all children. The picture is comprised of a hot air balloon, made up of a diverse group of children's faces. The picture also incorporated textural elements, with sand paper, twine, textured paper and rubber matting all incorporated. The words 'Every Child Every Chance' aim to describe the need for all children to be given the same chances in life, regardless of their socioeconomic status, country of birth or gender. The hot air balloon is designed to symbolize the children rising above every that steps in their path.
This is the artwork I created as assessment for this course.
