As part of my ongoing studies, I participated in the course EDP4130 Technologies Curriculum and Pedagogy in Semester One, 2016. A requirement for the course was to develop a resource to address a given content descriptor from the Design and Technologies Curriculum.

 

The content descriptor that my resource is based around is 'Investigate how and why food and fibre are produced in managed environments and prepared to enable people to grow and be healthy(ACTDEK021)' (ACARA, 2016). I chose to use the descriptor 'Develop project plans that include consideration of resources when making designed solutions individually and collaboratively (ACTDEP028)' (ACARA, 2016) to complement it.
