Educational Resources

The students who will complete this WebQuest will be participants in a Design and Technologies subject, as a part of the Australian Curriculum. It is designed for students in grades 5 to 6, but may be appropriate for older or younger students depending on their individual ability and progress. It is designed to have some stages completed independently, and others in a group, and is designed to be accessible for most students, as all text content on the website itself is also available in an audio form, and most resources are presented in a video format with subtitles available. Students have the opportunity to present their learning in a variety of ways.

Appropriate Grade Level: 5-6

Pre-requisites: Students must possess reasonable competency with using a computer to access websites, including those that are unfamiliar.

Differentiation: Students may work in mixed ablity groups which allows a peer who has understood the concepts to assist another student who may experience difficulty. All text is available in an audio form.
